취업모의 사회부과 완벽주의가 우울에 미치는 영향: 양육스트레스와 자기자비의 순차매개효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 영유아 자녀를 양육하는 취업모의 사회부과 완벽주의와 우울의 관계에서 양육스트레스와 자기자비의 순차매개효과를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 2024년 1월 영유아 자녀를 둔 취업모 300명을 대상으로 사회부과 완벽주의 척도, 우울 척도, 양육스트레스 척도, 자기자비 척도를 활용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0을 사용하여 연구대상자의 인구통계학적 특성에 대한 기술통계, 상관분석 후 SPSS PROCESS MACRO 4.0으로 사회부과 완벽주의와 우울의 관계에서 양육스트레스와 자기자비의 단순 매개효과, 순차매개 효과를 검증하였다. 결과 첫째, 사회부과 완벽주의, 양육스트레스, 자기자비, 우울은 통계적으로 유의한 관련성을 보였다. 둘째, 사회부과 완벽주의와 우울의 관계에서 양육스트레스의 매개효과는 유효하였다. 셋째, 사회부과 완벽주의와 우울의 관계에서 자기자비의 매개효과는 유효하였다. 넷째, 사회부과 완벽주의가 우울에 미치는 영향에서 양육스트레스와 자기자비의 매개효과는 모두 유효하였다. 결론 이상의 결과를 종합하면 영유아를 양육하는 취업모의 스트레스로 인한 심리적 건강을 위해 취업모의 성격 특징 파악과 스트레스 측정, 자기자비 교육이 상담 장면에 필요함을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to verify the sequential mediating effects of parenting stress and self-compassion in the relationship between perfectionism of social expectations regarding employment and depression in parents raising preschool children. Methods To achieve this, a survey was conducted in January 2024 targeting 300 employed mothers with preschool children, utilizing scales on social expectations perfectionism, depression, parenting stress, and self-compassion. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 for descriptive statistics on demographic characteristics of the participants, correlation analysis, and the SPSS PROCESS MACRO 4.0 to verify the simple mediating effects of parenting stress and self-compassion in the relationship between social expectations perfectionism and depression, as well as sequential mediating effects. Results First, socially imposed perfectionism, parenting stress, self-compassion, and depression showed a statistically significant relationship. Second, the mediating effect of parenting stress was effective in the relationship between socially imposed perfectionism and depression. Third, the mediating effect of compassion was effective in the relationship between socially imposed perfectionism and depression. Fourth, the mediating effects of parenting stress and self-compassion were both effective in the effect of socially imposed perfectionism on depression. Conclusions Summarizing the above results, it can be seen that in order to help the psychological health of working mothers raising infants due to stress, identification of the personality characteristics of working mothers, measurement of stress, and self-compassion education are necessary in counseling settings.
