부모-자녀 간의 ESG 활동 경험에 따른 부모의 ESG 인식 및 필요성과 유아의 환경보전태도, 생태소양 차이 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 부모-자녀 간의 ESG 활동 경험에 따른 부모의 ESG 인식 및 필요성과 유아의 환경보전태도, 생태소양 요인의 차이를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 방법 본 연구의 대상은 수도권(서울, 경기도, 인천)에 유아기 자녀를 둔 부모 189명이다. SPSS 23.0을 이용하여 연구변인의 경향성(평균, 표준편차)과 정규성(왜도, 첨도)을 분석하였고, 신뢰도는 Cronbach’s α로 제시하였다. 부모-자녀 간의 ESG 활동 경험 유무에 따른 차이는 t검증으로 분석하였다. 결과 주요결과는 첫째, 연구변인 가운데 생태소양의 하위요인인 자연지배를 제외한 모든 요인에서 3점 이상으로 높게 나타났고, 정규성은 충족하는 것으로 조사되었다. 둘째, 부모-자녀의 ESG 활동 경험 유무에 따라 ESG 인식 및 ESG 필요성과 하위영역인 Environment 필요성, Social 필요성, Governance 필요성은 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났고, 경험이 없는 집단보다 경험이 있는 집단이 더 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 부모-자녀의 ESG 활동 경험 유무에 따라 환경보전태도와 하위영역(절약태도, 재활용태도, 환경오염방지태도)은 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났고, 경험이 없는 집단보다 경험이 있는 집단이 더 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 부모-자녀의 ESG 활동 경험 유무에 따라 생태소양과 하위영역(자연의 권리, 지원의도, 자원보호, 생태감수성, 생태사회환경, 생태개발, 자연지배, 생태위기무관심)은 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났고, 경험이 없는 집단보다 경험이 있는 집단이 더 높게 나타났다. 결론 본 연구결과는 유아의 친환경 실천행동을 위해 ESG와 관련한 활동 중심의 경험이 중요하다는 것을 검증한 것이다. 이를 통해 가정 내에서 환경 의식과 지속 가능한 행동을 촉진하기 위한 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to verify the difference between parental ESG awareness and perceived importance based on parent-child ESG activity experiences, as well as children's environmental conservation attitudes and ecological literacy. Methods The study focuses on189 parents who have preschool-aged children in the metropolitan area, including Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, and Incheon. I analyzed the tendency (mean, standard deviation) and normality (skewness, kurtosis) of the research variables using SPSS23.0, andreliabilitywas presentedusing Cronbach's α. The difference based on the presence of parent-child ESG activity experiences was analyzed using a t-test. Results The main findings are as follows: First, all factors among the research variables, except for natural dominance, a sub-factor of ecological literacy, scored 3 or higher, and normality was found to be satisfied. Second, depending on the presence of parent-child ESG activity experiences, statistically significant differences were observed in ESG awareness and ESG importance, including sub-domains such as environmental Importance, social Importance, and governance Importance, with the group that had such experiences showing higher scores than the group without experiences. Third, depending on the presence of parent-child ESG activity experiences, statistically significant differences were observed in environmental conservation attitudes and sub-domains (saving attitude, recycling attitude, environmental pollution prevention attitude), with the group having such experiences showing higher scores than the group without experiences. Fourth, depending on the presence of parent-child ESG activity experiences, statistically significant differences were observed in ecological literacy and its sub-domains (rights of nature, willingness to support, resource protection, ecological sensitivity, socioecological awareness, eco-development, natural dominance, ecological crisis indifference), with the group having such experiences showing higher scores than the group without experiences. Conclusions The study's findings validate the importance of experience-centered activities related to ESG in fostering eco-friendly behaviors in children. Through this, we aim to propose measures to promote environmental awareness and sustainable behavior within families.
