국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 여대생의 진로자기주도성이 우울과 불안에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해, 수도권 소재 대학에 재학 중인 여대생 310명을 대상으로 2024년 5월 13일부터 6월 14일까지 진로자기주도성, 우울, 불안 검사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료에 대한 분석으로, 기술통계와 신뢰도 분석을 실시하였고, 변인들 간의 관련성과 영향력을 검증하기 위해 Pearson 상관분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 진로자기주도성과 우울, 불안 간에는 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 진로자기주도성이 우울과 불안에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 특히, 진로자기주도성의 하위요인인 진로확신성은 우울에, 진로자기주도성의 하위요인인 진로탐색의 지속성은 불안에 가장 큰 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이 연구에서는 여대생의 진로자기주도성이 이들의 우울과 불안에 영향을 미친다는 점을 입증함으로써, 취업스트레스에 노출된 여대생이 심리적 어려움 특히, 우울과 불안을 극복하고 자신의 진로방향을 확고히 하여 꾸준히 진로준비를 해 나아가는데 있어, 무엇보다도 진로자기주도성의 함양한 중요한 변인이라는 점을 검증했다는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of career self-directedness on depression and anxiety among female university students. To achieve this, a study was conducted on 310 female students enrolled in universities located in the metropolitan area from May 13 to June 14, 2024. The participants were assessed on career self-directedness, depression, and anxiety. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and reliability analysis. Additionally, Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis were employed to investigate the relationships and effects among the variables. The analysis revealed negative correlations between career self-directedness and both depression and anxiety. Furthermore, career self-directedness was found to have a negative effect on depression and anxiety. Specifically, the sub-factor of career self-directedness, career certainty, had the greatest impact on depression, while the persistence of career exploration had the most significant effect on anxiety. This study demonstrates that career self-directedness significantly influences depression and anxiety among female university students. It highlights that career self-directedness is a crucial variable in helping female students cope with psychological challenges, particularly depression and anxiety, amid the stress of job-seeking. Moreover, fostering career self-directedness can play a pivotal role in helping students solidify their career paths and persistently prepare for their future.
