This paper examines the current development status of cross-border e-commerce on Alibaba, which is China’s largest e-commerce platform. It aims to identify the main challenges faced by the platform and propose solutions to these issues. By addressing these challenges, the paper seeks to contribute to the advancement and growth of China’s e-commerce industry as a whole. Through a detailed analysis of Alibaba’s cross-border e-commerce operations, the paper will explore strategies for enhancing competitiveness, improving logistics, ensuring compliance with international regulations, and fostering better customer experiences. Ultimately, the goal is to provide insights that can help propel the progress of e-commerce in China.
