As the youth group of the country, college students bear the future and hope of a nation. The music aesthetics of Chinese college students are affected by changes in social development, cultural environment, and network development, and their aesthetic psychology also changes. Therefore, this study explores the characteristics and influencing factors of the music aesthetic psychology of Chinese college students based on the theory of music aesthetics psychology and investigates the current situation of music aesthetics psychology of Chinese college students by using questionnaires and structural equation modeling to construct a model of influencing factors of music aesthetics psychology of college students in order to promote the improvement of young college students’ music aesthetic ability and other aspects. Using a questionnaire survey and structural equation modeling, we investigated the current situation of music aesthetic psychology of contemporary Chinese college students, and constructed a model of influencing factors of college students’ music aesthetic psychology, with a view to promoting the improvement of young college students’ music aesthetic ability. The study shows that music aesthetic attitude, music aesthetic ability, music aesthetic consciousness, and music learning self-efficacy have significant and positive effects on music aesthetic psychology, and music aesthetic ability and music selfefficacy can be used as mediating variables to influence music aesthetic consciousness.
