국문 초록

With the advancement of globalization, the film industries of China and South Korea have become increasingly interconnected, and “one script, two films” movies have become an important means of cultural exchange between the two countries. This paper traces the origins and motivations of “one script, two films” movies in China and South Korea, and examines in detail the similarities and differences in thematic expression, character portrayal, and plot construction in three major genres: comedy, crime-suspense, and romance. Despite cultural differences and market uncertainties, the “one script, two films” movies of China and South Korea still have great potential and opportunities for type and localization. Finally, the paper offers suggestions for promoting film cooperation between China and South Korea and improving the quality of “one script, two films” movies, with the aim of providing reference for the joint development of the film industries of the two countries and future “one script, two versions” practices.
