중년 여성의 여가로서 팬덤 활동의 의미 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 중년 여성들이 여가 활동으로서 참여하는 팬덤 활동의 의미를 탐구하는 것이다. 여가로서의 팬덤활동은 주로 청소년 중심으로 연구되어 왔으나, 최근 중년 여성들이 팬덤 활동에 적극적으로 참여하며 새로운 여가문화를 형성하고 있다. 이러한 관점에서, 본 연구는 질적 연구를 적용하여 트롯 가수 팬덤을 중심으로 중년 여성들의팬덤 활동 의미를 분석하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면, 자아발견, 정서적 혜택, 사회적 연결, 커뮤니케이션 그리고 문화적소비라는 의미가 도출되었다. 중년 여성들은 팬덤 활동을 통해 신체적, 심리적 그리고 사회적 건강을 증진하였다. 아울러 이 활동은 그들 삶의 질을 향상하는 데 긍정적으로 작용하는 것이 나타났다. 중년 여성들의 팬덤 활동은 그들의 삶에 의미 있는 여가라는 것이 밝혀졌다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning of fandom activities that middle-aged women participate in as leisure activities. Fandom activities as leisure have mainly been studied with a focus on youth, but recently, middle-aged women are actively participating in fandom activities and forming a new leisure culture. From this perspective, this study applied qualitative research to analyze the meaning of middle-aged women's fandom activities, focusing on Trot singer fandom. The research results suggest themes of self-discovery, emotional benefits, social connection, communication, and cultural consumption. Middle-aged women improved their physical, psychological, and social health through fandom activities. Additionally, these activities were shown to have a positive effect on improving the quality of their lives. It was revealed that middle-aged women's fandom activities are a meaningful leisure activity in their lives.
