Purpose - The purpose of this study is to analyze how art museums in East Asia and Western Europe are addressing and pioneering digitalization strategies in the post-epidemic era. Amidst the profound impact of COVID-19 on the global cultural landscape, art museums, as vital institutions for cultural dissemination, must leverage digital means to enhance their resilience and competitiveness. This study explores the similarities and differences in art dissemination across cultures, provides insights to institutions, and fosters the sustainable development of art museums. Design/Methodology/Approach - This study combines literature review with case comparative analysis. Digital technology broadens art museums’ dissemination channels, enhances audience engagement, and facilitates the promotion of art education. Research Implications - A comparative analysis of the strategies, practices, and challenges faced by East Asian and Western European art museums in their digitalization processes aids in understanding cross-cultural nuances in art dissemination while providing valuable insights for institutions.
