국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 간호 대학생을 대상으로 환자안전을 기반으로 한 임상실습과 시뮬레이션 실습에서의 환자안전 지식, 환자안전 태도, 환자안전관리 활동 및 간호역량에 대한 효과를 비교하였다. 방법 비동등성 비교군 사전사후 유사실험 설계이며 연구 대상자는 간호 대학생 3학년으로 임상 실습군 38명, 시뮬레이션 실습군 37명으로 총 75명이었다. 임상 실습군은 일반 병동에서 환자 간호를 관찰하고 안전 상황을 경험하고, 시뮬레이션 실습군은 시나리오를 분석하고 모의상황에서 직접 간호술기를 수행하였다. 자료수집은 2023년 9월부터 11월까지이었다. 연구 대상자의 일반적 특성과 변수의 수준은 실수와 백분율, 평균, 표준편차로, 임상 실습 군과 시뮬레이션 실습군의 교육 후의 효과 비교는 independent t-test로 분석하였다. 결과 환자안전 기반의 임상 실습군과 시뮬레이션 실습군 모두 교육 전과 비교하여 교육 후 환자안전지식, 환자안전관리 활동, 간호역량이 유의하게 상승하였다. 교육 이후 임상 실습군은 시뮬레이션 실습군보다 환자안전지식이 유의하게 높았다. 결론 환자안전 기반의 임상 실습과 시뮬레이션이 실습은 간호 대학생의 환자안전관리 활동과 간호역량을 향상할 수 있는 효과적인 교육방법으로 확인되었다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study attempted clinical practice and simulation practice based on patient safety for nursing students to compare and analyze the effects on patient safety knowledge, patient safety attitude, patient safety management activity, and nursing competency. Methods The subjects of the study were 75 people, 38 in the clinical practice group and 37 in the simulation practice group, with a non-equivalence comparison group pre-post quasi-experimental design. Both groups were educated on patient safety concepts and cases before practice. The clinical practice group experienced patient care in a general ward and reflected on the safety situation. The simulation practice group directly performed nursing to solve nursing problems through scenarios. Data were collected from September to November 2023 and analyzed using the SPSS 24.0 program. Results The pretest and posttest results of both group showed statistically significant improvements in patient safety knowledge, patient safety management activity, and nursing competency. In a comparison of the results of the two practice groups, the only statistically significant difference was found for patient safety knowledge. Conclusions Based on Patient safety practice has become an effective educational method to improve nursing students' patient safety management activities and nursing competency. Furthermore, the results of this study suggest further research to refine the effects of patient safety management competency.
