대학생의 진로스트레스 변인에 대한 메타분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 진로스트레스와 관련 변인 간의 관계를 메타분석을 통해 종합적으로 정리하는데 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 2000년부터 2024년 3월까지 약 24년간의 국내 학술지와 석·박사 학위 논문 중에서 진로스트레스에 영향을 미치는 변인에 대한 논문 44편을 최종적으로 선정하여 R 통계프로그램을 활용하여 메타분석을 실시하였다. 결과 진로스트레스 관련 논문 44편을 선정하였으며 15개의 변인을 추출하였고, 진로스트레스 관련 요인의 효과 크기를 심리 관련 요인과 진로 관련 요인으로 분류하여 분석하였다. 진로스트레스에 영향을 미치는 심리 관련 요인은 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족, 우울불안, 사회부과완벽주의, 그릿순으로 나타났다. 진로스트레스에 영향을 미치는 진로 관련 요인은 진로장벽, 진로미결정, 진로목표 불일치, 진로결정수준순으로 나타났다. 결론 분석결과, 심리 관련 요인과 진로 관련 요인들이 대학생의 진로스트레스에 유의미한 영향을 미친다는 점이 확인되었다. 따라서 대학생의 진로스트레스를 줄이기 위해 심리적 자원 강화와 함께 진로 관련 요인을 중심으로 종합적이고 다차원적인 접근이 필요할 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to comprehensively organize the relationship between career stress and related variables through meta-analysis. Methods For this purpose, a meta-analysis was conducted using the R statistical program, examining a total of 44 papers on variables influencing career stress, drawn from domestic academic journals and master's and doctoral theses over a span of approximately 24 years, from 2000 to March 2024. Results 44 papers related to career stress were selected, and 15 variables were extracted. The effect size of factors related to career stress was analyzed by classifying them into psychological factors and career-related factors. Psychological factors affecting career stress were found to be, in order: lack of tolerance for uncertainty, depression/anxiety, socially prescribed perfectionism, and grit. Career-related factors affecting career stress were found to be, in order: career barriers, career indecision, career goal mismatch, and career decision level. Conclusions The analysis results confirmed that psychological factors and career-related factors have a significant impact on college students' career stress. Therefore, it is expected that strengthening psychological resources along with systematic career counseling and support programs will be necessary to reduce career stress among college students.
