발달장애인의 자립 의사 정도와 자립 의사에 영향을 미치는 요인

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 발달장애인의 자립 의사 정도와 자립 의사에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는「2023년 발달장애인의 일과 삶」데이터를 활용하여 빈도분석, 교차분석, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 인구사회학적 요인에서는 장애 유형이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으며, 그 외 변인은 유의한 관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로 로지스틱 회귀분석 결과, 다른 사람의 도움 필요 여부(OR=1.499, p<.001), 친구 유무(OR=1.315, p<.05), 본인 사용 가능 돈 유무(OR=1.504, p<.05), 위급상황 대처 능력(OR=1.758, p<.01), 자기 결정권(OR=2.135, p<.001)은 발달장애인의 자립 의사에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 장애로 인해 하고 싶은 것을 못한 경험은 발달장애인의 자립 의사에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 발달장애인의 자립 의사를 높이기 위한 정책의 필요성을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the degree of independence of people with developmental disabilities and the factors that affect their independence Method: For this purpose, frequency analysis, cross-tabulation analysis, and logistic regression analysis were conducted using the data of “Work and Life of People with Developmental Disabilities in 2023”. Results: The results of the study showed that the type of disability had a significant effect on demographic factors, while other variables had no significant relationship. Next, logistic regression analysis showed that needing help from others (OR=1.499, p<.001), having friends (OR=1.315, p<.05), having money available (OR=1.504, p<.05), ability to cope with emergencies (OR=1.758, p<.01), and self-determination (OR=2. 135, p<.001) were found to have a significant effect on the independence intention of people with developmental disabilities, while the experience of not being able to do what they wanted to do due to disability did not have a significant effect on the independence intention of people with developmental disabilities. Conclusion: Based on these findings, it was suggested that there is a need for policies to increase the intention of independence of people with developmental disabilities.
