적봉지역 하가점하층문화에서 발굴된 고문자 宁와 墉 고찰 - 殷의 갑골문보다 앞서 사용한 ‘고조선 문자’일 가능성 검토

국문 초록

이 글은 하가점하층문화에서 발굴된 적봉시 두패자(頭牌子)유적의 청동언(靑銅甗)에 있는 두 문자를 해석하고, 이 문자가 갑골문보다 앞서 사용된 ‘고조선 문자’일 가능성을 검토하는 데 목적이 있다. 발견된 두 문자는 과 이다. 이 문자는 이른바 ‘금문’(金文)으로, 그 형식은 청동기시대에 청동에 새긴 문자에 해당한다. 그런데 문자의 자형(字形)은 은주(殷周)의 청동 금문과 달랐고, 은의 갑골문(甲骨文)과 유사했다. 필자가 해석한 결과 (宁,저)는 ‘천자(天子)가 제후의 조회(알현)를 받는 자리’라는 뜻이며, (墉,용)은 ‘천자국의 궁성(용성)’의 뜻이다. 이는 『예기』에 나오는 ‘당저’(當宁)와 ‘저위’(宁位),『주례』에 나오는 조례(朝禮)와 근례(覲禮)라는 말을 통해 천자의 예제(禮制)임을 확인할 수 있다. 아울러 이 문자가 지금으로부터 4000년 전, 적봉지역에 거주했던 고조선 사람들이 사용한 고금문(古金文)인지를 밝혀 볼 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to interpret two characters engraved on a large cauldron made of bronze yan(靑銅甗) from the Toupai site in Chifeng City(赤峰市), which was excavated from the Xiajiadian Culture(夏家店下層文化), and to examine the possibility that these characters are ‘Gojoseon-character’ used before the oracle bone inscriptions. The two characters discovered are and . These characters are called ‘Bronze Inscriptions’ and their format corresponds to characters engraved on bronze during the Bronze Age. However, the form of the characters is different from the bronze characters of Yin (殷) and Zhou (周), and is similar to the ‘Oracle bone script’ of the Yin Dynasty. As a result of my interpretation, that (宁,Jeo,zhù) means “A sacred place where the emperor receives audiences from feudal lords”, and (墉,Yong,yōng) means “The castle of the emperor's palace”. This can be confirmed by the “Dang-Jeo當宁” and “Jeo-Wi宁位” in the “Book of Rites禮記” and the “Jo-Lye朝禮” and “Geun-Lye覲禮” in the “Zhou Li周禮” to confirm the emperor's ritual system. In addition, We will also investigate whether this character is an ancient bronze inscription used by the Gojoseon people who lived in the Chifeng Area around 4000 years ago.
