Data Mining for Evaluating Healthy Lifestyle: A Case Study of R Langlage Data Mining for Popular Film and Television Entertainment

Purpose - As a carrier of culture and entertainment, movies trigger people’s thoughts and insights on life. Many viewers are accustomed to participating in rating, expressing opinions and evaluations on the platform, and the high or low score often affects consumers’ choices. This article attempts to conduct in-depth exploration and research on the factors that affect movie ratings by using R software as an auxiliary tool; Conduct empirical research by conducting correlation analysis on relevant variables. Design/Methodology/Approach - Using Rstudio tool to analyze Douban website https://movie.douban.com/top200? Data analysis with start=0&filter=. Use a for loop statement externally, where i is the variable and the crawled URL is “https://movie.douban.com/top200+Start=+i+&filter=”. Findings - There is indeed a certain positive correlation between the number of rating users and the total score of the movie, but the correlation between the two is weak; There is a negative correlation between movie ranking and overall movie score, and the correlation between the two is strong. Research Implications - The Chinese film industry can learn from the United States, advanced technologies, management concepts, and business models from abroad. Of course, while learning from them, we should also not forget to explore our own cultural advantages. The art of film changes with the times, and the year 2000 was the period with the most positive reviews for films, as well as an important period for the development of Chinese cinema.
