국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 진로교육 및 진로상담 현장에서 베이비부머의 사회적자본과 평생학습참여도를 높일 수 있는 상담 개입 전략을 수립하며 삶의 질 향상을 위한 다양한 기초자료를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 방법 이를 위해 대구·경북지역에 거주 중인 베이비부머(1955년생~1963년생)를 대상으로 2023년 10월 8일부터 15일까지 온라인 설문 방식을 통해 112명의 응답을 받아 분석하였다. 수집한 자료에 대해서는 SPSS 23.0을 활용하여 신뢰도분석, 기술통계, 상관관계분석, 회귀분석을 실시하고, 통계적 유의성을 분석하기 위해 Sobel Test를 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 베이비부머의 사회적자본은 삶의 질에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 베이비부머의 사회적자본은 평생학습참여도에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 베이비부머의 평생학습참여도는 삶의 질에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 평생학습참여도는 베이비부머의 사회적자본과 삶의 질의 관계를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구의 결과를 통해 베이비부머의 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위해서 사회적자본과 평생학습에 대한 필요성을 인식하고 체계적인 도움을 줄 수 있는 교육 및 상담프로그램 개발·실시가 필요함을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to establish counseling intervention strategies that can increase social capital and lifelong education participation of baby boomers in career education and career counseling sites, and to provide various basic data to improve quality of life. Methods For this purpose, 112 responses were received and analyzed through an online survey from October 8 to 15, 2023, targeting baby boomers (born between 1955 and 1963) living in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions. For the collected data, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted for each variable using the SPSS 23.0 statistical program, and the Sobel Test was conducted to analyze statistical significance. Results First, baby boomers social capital was found to have a significant positive effect on quality of life. Second, baby boomers social capital was found to have a positive effect on lifelong education participation. Third, baby boomers lifelong education participation was found to have a positive effect on quality of life. Fourth, lifelong edu-cation participation was found to mediate the relationship between baby boomers social capital and quality of life. Conclusions The results of this study show that in order to improve the quality of life of baby boomers, it is neces-sary to recognize the need for social capital and lifelong education and to develop and implement education and counseling programs that can provide systematic help.
