국문 초록

American scholar Appiah put forward the concept of thick translation in 1993, which intends to preserve the cultural characteristics of the original text through explicit or implicit approaches such as adding annotations, utilizing amplification, writing prefaces, etc., so as to place the translated text into a rich cultural and linguistic environment and therefore help the target language readers strengthen their understanding of the source language culture. As one of the most important ways of thick translation, annotation is complex and diverse, which can be divided into translation annotation, knowledge annotation and culture annotation. At the same time, the cultural factors in the original text are the key obstacles to hinder readers from reading smoothly and realizing cross-cultural understanding. Therefore, this article takes the cultural annotations of the two versions of the selected book as the research object, and tends to summarize the value and application strategy of annotations in thick translation by comparing the differences and effects of the annotation contents.

영문 초록

美国学者阿皮亚于1993 年提出了深度翻译的概念。深度翻译通过添加注释、增译、前言等显性或隐性的方式，保留原文的文化特征，将翻译文本置于丰富的文化和语言环境中，帮助译入语读者加强对原语文化的理解。注释是深度翻译最为重要的方式之一。注释复杂多样，可以分为翻译类注释、知识类注释和文化类注释等。同时，原文中的文化因素是阻碍读者流畅阅读和实现跨文化理解的关键。因此，本文以两译本的文化因素注释作为研究对象，拟通过比较注释内容和效果的差异，总结出深度翻译中注释的价值以及应用策略。
