국문 초록

Using the “Korean Agricultural Specialization SAM” and CGE models reflecting the characteristics of Korean agriculture, we analyzed how the impact of changes in internal and external conditions, such as rising international grain prices and decreasing population, varies depending on the scale of pig farms. When international grain prices rise by 10%, production of small and medium-sized farmers decreases by 0.5% and large-scale farmers by 0.25%. When the employment labor supply decreases by 10%, the production of small and medium-sized farms decreases by 3.91% and large-scale farms by 3.85%. Due to a 10% increase in international grain prices, feed prices rise by 2.12%, and slaughter meat prices rise by 0.87%. The results of this analysis explain the background of the withdrawal phenomenon centered on small and medium-sized farmers due to changes in internal and external conditions and the progress of large-scale to secure the competitiveness of the pig farming industry.
