국문 초록

The study explores the intersection of surrealism art and image-generative AI. By employing techniques like “dépaysement” and “decalcomania,” the author created four innovative pictorial makeup designs. These designs blur the lines between reality and fantasy, inviting viewers to explore their own interpretations. The study aimed to push the boundaries of conventional makeup artistry, expanding creativity and diversity through the integration of AI. The fusion of surrealism and AI allowed the author to create unique and thought-provoking works that transcend traditional mediums. This study highlights the potential of AI in fostering new art forms and methods of expression, enabling artists to convey deeper meanings and messages beyond social and cultural perspectives. By integrating AI into makeup artistry, the author also challenged the traditional role of makeup stylists, positioning them as artists capable of exploring broader themes and inspirations.
