국문 초록

As the hair loss population gradually increases, SMP procedures are currently emerging as a supplement for those suffering from hair loss. This study was conducted to identify the risk perception and post-treatment satisfaction of SMP procedures. To this end, 207 people who have experienced SMP procedures were surveyed from September 1 to September 30, 2021 at beauty shops or hospitals. The research results are summarized as follows. SMP subjects were mainly in their 30s, living in metropolitan cities, college graduates, and office workers with a monthly income of more than 4 million won. The risk perception prior to receiving SMP treatment according to general characteristics showed significant differences in place of residence, occupation, monthly average monthly income, and treatment area. There was a significant difference in satisfaction according to treatment area. In the analysis of factors influencing SMP risk perception, the level of risk perception was significantly higher in cities, countries or eup/myeon areas than metropolitan cities. Professionals had a higher level of risk perception than office workers as did less those making less than 1 million won compared to those earning a monhtly income of 4 million won. In the analysis of factors influencing SMP satisfaction, sales workers were significantly more satisfied than office workers as were those earning less than 3 million won compared to those earning 4 million won monthly. There was no correlation between pre-SMP risk perception and post-treatment satisfaction. SMP is one of the effective and efficient methods of hair loss prevention. Therefore, it is expected that the technology will be developed in consideration of the factors influencing SMP's risk perception and satisfaction in the future and systematic education will become standard.
