한국어 교육에서의 어원의 유형과 활용 방안에 대한 연구

국문 초록

본고에서는 한국어 교육에서의 어원 유형 분류와 활용 방안을 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 한국어 어휘 교육에서의 어원의 개념과 어원을 활용한 교육의 의의를 정리하고 어원을 유형별, 주제별로 제시하여 한국어 교육에서의 활용 방안과 그 가능성을 모색해 보았다. 어원을 활용한 한국어 교육은 한국의 언어 문화와 한국인의 사고를 이해할 수 있고 학습자들의 흥미와 관심을 유도할 수 있으며 한국어 어휘 능력을 향상시킬 수 있다는 것에 의의가 있다. 이에 어원을 한국어 교육에 활용할 수 있도록 일반적인 어원의 활용, 지명의 어원 활용, 공통 주제별 어원의 활용, 동일한 구조의 의미 관계를 가진 어원의 활용, 사전에 등재된 신조어 어원의 활용 등의 5가지 유형으로 분류하였고 그 의미와 활용 방안도 제시하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, we proposed the use of etymology in Korean language education. To this end, we first organized the concept of etymology and the significance of etymology using etymology in Korean vocabulary education and presented etymologies by type to explore ways to use them in Korean language education and their possibilities. The significance of Korean language education using etymology is that it can understand Korean language culture and Korean thinking, induce learners' interest and interest, and improve Korean vocabulary skills. In order to utilize etymology in Korean language education, the use of etymology by geographical name, the use of etymology by common theme, the use of etymology with the same structure, and the use of newly registered etymology were also presented.
