국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 학습자 중심 수업 방법, 창의성, 학업성취도 변인 간의 관계를 연구하고, 학습자 중심 수업 방법과 학업성취도의 관계에서 창의성의 매개효과가 있는지 검증하고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위하여, 한국교육개발원에서 시행한 ‘한국교육종단연구 2013’ 6차년도(2018년) 조사자료를 활용하였다. ‘한국교육종단연구 2013’ 6차년도 설문 조사에 응답한 고등학교 1학년 학생 중, 유효표본 3,882명의 학습자 중심 수업 방법, 창의성, 학업성취도에 해당하는 응답 결과를 분석하였다. 변인 간의 관계와 매개효과를 알아보기 위해 SPSS Process Macro를 활용하여 Bootstrapping 분석을 실시하였다. 결과 본 연구의 결과, 학습자 중심 수업 방법의 창의성에 대한 영향이 유의하였다. 창의성의 학업성취도에 대한 영향도 유의하였다. 학습자 중심 수업 방법의 학업성취도에 대한 영향도 유의하였다. 학습자 중심 수업 방법과 학업성취도의 관계에서 창의성의 매개효과도 유의하였다. 결론 학습자 중심 수업 방법은 창의적 사고 역량 함양에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 이는 결과적으로 학업성취도 향상에 긍정적 영향을 미친다. 이는 고등학생의 학업성취도 향상에 있어 학습자 중심 수업 방법의 적용과 창의적 사고 역량 함양의 중요성을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study examined the relationship between learner-centered teaching methods, creativity, and academic achievement. Additionally, this study analyzed the mediating effect of creativity in the relationship between learner-centered teaching methods and academic achievement. Methods To achieve this, data from the “Korea Educational Longitudinal Study 2013,” conducted by the Korean Educational Development Institute (KEDI), were utilized. The study collected responses from 3,882 valid samples of first-year high school students regarding learner-centered teaching methods, creativity, and academic achievement. To explore the relationships and mediating effects, bootstrapping analysis using the SPSS Process Macro was conducted. Results The results of this study indicate that learner-centered teaching methods significantly influence creativity. Creativity also significantly affects academic achievement. Furthermore, the impact of learner-centered teaching methods on academic achievement is significant. The mediating effect of creativity in the relationship between learner-centered teaching methods and academic achievement is also significant. Conclusions Learner-centered teaching methods play a crucial role in enhancing creative thinking skills, ultimately positively impacting academic achievement. These findings underscore the importance of applying learner-centered teaching methods and fostering creative thinking abilities to enhance high school students' academic performance.
