Objective: This study aims to analyze adolescent mental health problems in middle school Technology and Home Economics textbooks, focusing on the 2015 revised curriculum standards. Methods: Using Elo and Kyngas' (2008) qualitative content analysis, 12 textbooks from the 2015 Revised Curriculum for Middle School Technology and Home Economics were examined. Results: Six adolescent mental health issues were identified: stress, depression, suicide, anger control disorder, addiction, and eating disorders. Each issue was analyzed for its definition, symptoms, impact, causes, and prevention and management strategies. Analysis revealed inconsistencies in content coverage and depth.Analysis revealed inconsistencies in content coverage and depth. Stress was well-covered, while suicide and eating disorders had notable gaps, particularly in prevention strategies. Conclusions: A standardized framework for presenting mental health content in textbooks is needed to ensure comprehensive coverage. Such a framework, aligned with mental health standards, could improve students' understanding and management of mental health issues, enhancing their well-being and coping skills. The findings support the enhancement of mental health education in the curriculum.
