This research examines supply chain synergy and life cycles, focusing on ESG rating systems. It explains how Cisco implements ESG ratings to boost performance. It delved deep into how such multinational corporations incorporate them into supply chain operations. The study explored the synergies generated by analyzing supplier chains and ESG ratings, offering advice for integrating sustainability into core business strategies and aligning sustainability initiatives with longer-term business goals. These insights can be instrumental in helping companies navigate through the complexity of sustainability management, potentially leading to significant improvements in their overall performance. The findings further support the roadmap to develop organizational sustainability practices and performance, which can bring about many benefits such as enhanced brand reputation, increased customer loyalty, and improved financial performance. Furthermore, this research prepares academic and professional communities with recommendations for improving sustainability practices.
