국문 초록

The process of achieving modernization is essentially the formation and evolution process of human civilization from tradition to modernity. Standing at the crossroads of human civilization and modernization, the choice of civilization path is related to the success or failure of modernization in various countries. How to reconstruct the path of civilization modernization has become a realistic problem that all countries in the world must face. As the latest expression of Chinese civilization and the “civilization achievement” based on the successful practice of Chinese-style modernization, the Global Civilization Initiative is born from the combination of the Marxist view of civilization and the distinctive characteristics of openness and tolerance of traditional Chinese civilization. It breaks through the barriers of the Western civilization paradigm of “clash of civilizations”, clarifies the myth of the development of human civilization, and opens up a new path for human civilization to be modernized with diversity and integration, compatibility with tradition and modernity, and consideration of nationality and worldliness.

영문 초록

现代化的实现过程实质上是人类文明从传统转向现代的形成和演进过程，站在人类文明与现代化征程的十字路口，文明道路的选择关涉各国现代化的成败得失。如何重构文明现代化道路，业已成为世界各国须以直面的现实难题。作为中华文明的最新表达与中国式现代化成功实践基础之上的“文明成果”，全球文明倡议生发于马克思主义文明观与中华传统文明开放包容鲜明特质的两相结合之中，冲破了“文明冲突”西方文明范式藩篱，廓清了人类文明的发展迷思，为人类文明开拓了一条兼具多样性与交融性，兼容传统性与现代性，兼顾民族性与世界性的现代化新道路。
