The lmwon gyeongjae-ji(林園經濟志) is an encyclopedia written by Pungseok Seo Yu-gu (1764~1845) for 30 years, which is published in 1830. The Imwon gyeongjae-ji was a book for human welfare, and referred to his books, as well as Korean, Chinese and Japanese books. The fact that the contents necessary for the general common people were selected and written means that it is the biggest practical encyclopedia, which is delivered throughout the generations as the precious data. This book, which deals with everything Sunbi needs m the village, has a lot of tea-related parts. Among them, the contents of the tea storage are written according to his own experience, as well as referring to various books like Dagyeong(茶經) of Yukwoo, Darok(茶錄) of Chaeyang, Daso(茶疏) of Huh Chaseo, Dabo(茶譜) of Gowongyeong, Gwanggunbangbo(廣羣芳譜) of Wang Ho, Gunbango(羣芳譜) of Wang Sangjin, and Gwangseolmandangrok(快雪堂漫錄) of Pungmongjeong. Pungseok, who recognized the importance of keeping and storing tea, cited many parts of Hwachaseo' s Daso where the SUJang, chidon, chuyong, pokwa and ilyong-chidon were written. It is covered in the fifth japsik of Manhak-ji which covers fruit and trees. Noteworthy things about the actual storage of tea life are as follows. First, the environmental factors of degeneration consisting of oxygen, light (ultraviolet), humidity, and temperature need to be controlled. They can be blocked by scientific approach and stored. Second, tools like iars, bamboo sheathes, warm ashes, baked bricks, dansa (sand) should be used. Third, to block the oxygen and temperature transition of the empty space of the jar, bamboo leaves were cut into small pieces and put into the container as an insulation material and a filler. Fourth, a few cautions about tea storage were recorded, such as prohibition of using paper bags, transfer of fragrance, wet hands, fishy smell of bowls, making sure that pots are all turned over, not to use bamboo containers, storing in cool places, not to open during the rainy season, planning ahead before taking out. Fifth, the packaging should be sealed tightly and stored at low temperatures.
