近年ICT技術の急速な発達により、4技能の学習を融合的に取り入れた 教室活動が可能になった。4技能を融合的に組み合わせた教育指導案としては「聞き取り」の重要性が先行研究から指摘されている。よって本稿では、韓国の日本語学習者に誤聴が起こりやすい音の特徴を把握し、聞き取り教育で取り入れるべき音はどのような音なのかを考察する。本研究は韓国の大学で「日本語会話」の授業を受講する学生22名を対象に、単音節語と3拍の無意味語単語の聞き取り<調査>を分けて行った。その結果、学習者は単音節として聞き取る際と単語として聞き取る際では誤聴が起こりやすい音が異なることが明らかになった。その他にも、単音節として聞き取る音は学習が進むにつれ聞き取りの難易度が下がることが確認されたが、3拍の無意味語単語は学習が進んでも聞き取りの難易度に違いは見られなかった。先行研究では韓国の日本語学習者の聞き取りの誤聴の要因として韓国語の音韻的特徴を挙げることが多いが、本稿では調査結果から日本語の外来語表記法の揺れや学習者の音への慣れなど様々な要因が複雑に絡み合っている可能性があることを指摘した。
영문 초록
The rapid development of ICT technology in recent years made it possible to incorporate classroom activities that integrate learning of all four skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing). Prior research has indicated the importance of “listening comprehension” as an educational instructional plan that combines four skills in an integrated manner. Therefore, this paper will identify the characteristics of sounds that are likely to cause mishearing among Korean learners of Japanese, and consider which sounds should be incorporated in listening comprehension education. This survey was conducted on 22 students taking a “Japanese Conversation” class at a Korean university, analyzing their listening of monosyllabic sounds and three-beat nonsense words separately. The results revealed that learners were prone to mishear sounds differently when hearing them as monosyllables and words. These findings point to the possibility of a complex interplay of various factors contributing to learners’ mishearing, including fluctuations in the Japanese system of writing foreign words and learners’ habituation to certain sounds.
