증명과 정당화 사이의 관계를 바라보는 국내 수학교육 연구의 관점 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 교육과정 개정 과정에서 용어 선택과 관련된 이슈가 있었던 ‘증명’과 ‘정당화’라는 두 용어 사이의 관계를 국내 수학교육 연구 영역에서 어떻게 바라보아 왔는지에 관해 탐색해보기 위하여 관련 국내 연구 문헌들에서의 용어 사용 방식을 분석해보았다. 연구 결과 증명과 정당화를 정의하는 방식에서의 차이가 나타났으며, 증명과 정당화 사이의 관계를 바라보는 관점 상의 다양성과경향성을 확인해볼 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 밀접하게 연관되어 다루어져 온 두 용어 사이의 관계에 관한 학술적인 논의의기반을 제공한다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.

영문 초록

In this study, we investigated how the relationship between the terms “proof” and “justification,” which posed issues related to terminology selection during the revision of the Korean mathematics curriculum, has been perceived in the field of domestic mathematics education research. Conducting a systematic literature review, we analyzed the usage of these terms in relevant domestic research literature. The analysis revealed variations in defining proof and justification, highlighting diverse perspectives and trends regarding their relationship. The findings of this study contribute to a scholarly foundation for ongoing discussions on the closely intertwined relationship between these two terms.
