국문 초록

본 연구는 2003년부터 2023년까지 수학교육에서 지능형 교수 시스템을 통합한 63편의 실험 연구를 종합하고 그에 대한 동향, 효과, 제한점을 체계적으로 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 지능형 교수 시스템에 대한 연구 관심은 지속적으로 높아지고 있었으나 대부분 교육과공학 분야에서 연구가 수행되고 있었다. 지능형 교수 시스템은 주로 초등학교 수준에서 적용되고 있었으며, 수와 산술, 대수, 기하에초점을 두고 있었다. 대부분의 연구들은 지능형 교수 시스템의 긍정적인 효과를 보고했으며, 수학교육에서 지능형 교수 시스템의 구현을 방해할 수 있는 6가지 제한점이 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 수학교육에서 지능형 교수 시스템을 성공적으로 통합하기 위한 연구의 방향과 시사점을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study synthesized 63 empirical studies integrating intelligent tutoring systems in mathematics education from 2003 to 2023 and systematically examined trends, effects, and limitations. As a result, research interest in intelligent teaching systems has continued to increase, but most of the research has been conducted in the fields of education and engineering. The intelligent tutoring systems were mainly applied at the elementary school level, focusing on numbers and arithmetic, algebra, and geometry. Most studies reported the positive effects of intelligent teaching systems, and six limitations emerged that may hinder the implementation of intelligent tutoring systems in mathematics education. Based on these results, this study suggested future directions and implications for successfully integrating intelligent tutoring systems in mathematics education.
