This paper has the purpose to study similarity of and in view of patriarchy. Ceylan criticizes a society of patriarchy, and makes the films about the Turkish reality like that. Ceylan creates a multi-layered character that keeps us absorbed throughout. His films traces the oppressive lives of a working class family in a small coastal town. Ceylan gives this relatively everyday story a look and feel of the dark undertones that can perforate even the most sacred of relationships. It is a unique exploration of that side of love, which at its intense best can be equated with violence, and that's what makes this film special. Ceylan minimizes every dramatic element, including sound. In fact, sound is never used to support the image: Ambient sounds in Three Monkeys often emanate from another environment or another shot. Sounds are connected to inner states, rather than to location; for instance, the impossibly loud, jarring passage of the train as Hacer walks home, after having been driven there by the politician, marks an explosive change in her. Ceylan eschews music, too, because it would add an unnecessary element. The one exception is Hacer’s cell-phone ring. In the aesthetic of the film, that music marks her as out of control, and indeed her feelings of emptiness are soon replaced by obsession. Filming with high definition video cameras, Ceylan depends on lingering close-ups to convey the protagonists’ weakness from the anxiety. In fact, the entire ensemble is fearless in its emotional exposure. Their accomplished performances linger on in the mind long after the final fade-out. Compulsory viewing for those who long for unusual cinema. He expresses the melancholy of Turkey through such method. In this method, Ceylan uses the horror movie-technique and the atmosphere of a suspense that are hinted the control with the submission and oppression. The work of the Ceylan has big meaning in the point of new narration which is the experiment. Because it is which we can not see in social realism movie.
