국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 태블릿PC를 활용한 Touchmath 프로그램이 자폐성장애 초등학생의 덧셈 계산 정확도와 유창성에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 목적을 가진다. 연구방법: 독립변인인 태블릿 PC를 활용한 Touchmath프로그램이 종속변인이 자폐성장애 초등학생의 덧셈 계산 유창성에 미치는 영향을 총 3명의 자폐 성장애 학생을 대상으로 대상자 간 중다간헐 기초선 설계를 통하여 알아보았다. 결과: 태블릿 PC를 활용한 Touchmath 프로그램을 적용한 결과’ 연구대상자 모두 덧셈 연산 정확도와 덧셈 유창성이 함께 증가한 것으 로 확인되었다. 논의: 본 연구의 결과는 Touchmath 프로그램이 시각적 자료를 선호하고 주어진 규칙을 따르 고자 하는 자폐성장애 학생의 학습 특성에 적합하였음을 보여주었다. 이는 Touchmath 프로그램을 적용하는 데 사용했던 태블릿PC가 학생들에게 즉각적인 피드백을 제공하고 흥미를 유발하였으며 정의적 측면에서도 긍정적인 영향을 준 것으로 여겨지며, 이러한 측면에서 태블릿PC를 활용한 Touchmath 프로그램이 자폐성장 애 초등학생에게 교육적 가치가 있음을 보여준다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to confirm the effect of the Touchmath program using a tablet PC on the addition calculation of elementary school students with autism spectrum disorders. The multiple probe baseline design across subjects was used as an experimental design to determine the effect the Touchmath program using a tablet PC on the accuracy and fluency of addition calculation of students with autism spectrum disorder. The study’s results are as follows: first, the Touchmath program using a tablet PC has increased the accuracy of addition calculation for all study subjects. Second, the Touchmath program using a tablet PC increased the fluency of addition calculation for all study subjects. Conclusion: Touchmath program using a tablet PC also had a positive effect on the affective aspects of students with autism spectrum disorders.
