국문 초록

이 논문은 현존하는 가장 오래된 중국영화인 <노동자의 사랑(勞工之愛情)>을중심으로 1920년대 초반 상해영화계와 명성영화사, 그리고 <노동자의 사랑>의제작 및 상영에 관한 사실들과 영화 속 자막이 보여주는 초기 명성영화사와 신문화운동과의 관련성을 살피고 있다. 중국의 유명한 영화평론가인 가령(柯靈)은 1920년대 중국영화가 1910년대 후반부터 일어난 신문화 운동과 아무 상관이 없고 장기적으로 구문화와 매우 긴밀한 관계를 유지하고 있었다는 관점을 가지고 있었다. 이 논문에서 본 연구자는 명성영화사에서 제작한 영화 <노동자의 사랑>의 자막에 보이는 문체적 측면과영화의 내용을 살펴보고 분석함으로써 가령의 주장을 비판하고 그 동안 베일에싸여 있던 신문화운동과 중국 초기 무성영화의 교섭을 살폈다. 연구의 결과를 종합하면 문학혁명 발발 전후 문학계에서 일기 시작한 진실에대한 추구와 인도주의에 대한 선양과 같은 내용이 <노동자의 사랑>에서도 발견됨을 알 수 있었고, 문체(자막)적으로 보았을 때 백화문혁명의 영향이 중국 초기영화계에서까지 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 초기 중국영화와 신문화운동이 서로 밀접한 관계를 지니고 있었음을 보여주는 증거라 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This article is a study of movie circles in Shanghai and Mingxing Film Company in the early 1920s, the facts of film product and screening, especially subtitles, based on the Chinese movie , the oldest one which can be watched. For criticizing Ling Ke’s opinions about Chinese early movies were not associated with new cultural since the second half of the 1910s, but it had a close relationship with the old cultural in a long time. The author revealed the negotiation that behind the scenes between New Cultural Movement and Chinese early silent movies after by researching the content and literary form from the subtitles. Combined with the results of the study, the pursuit of truth and the praise of humanitarianism appeared in the Literary Revolution were be founded in the contents of the movie . In terms of the literary form’s side, the authors revealed that in some degree Chinese early movies fell was under the influence of revolution in Vernacular Chinese. Thus it can be seen that Chinese early movies has a close relationship with the Literary Revolution.
