학교 내 의료적 지원에 대한 어려움과 개선 과제

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 학교에서 의료적 지원을 받는 중도중복장애학생 학부모를 대상으로 의료적 지원 사업 도입과 운영 과정에서 경험한 어려움을 살펴보고 이를 개선하기 위한 과제들을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 학교 내 의료적 지원 사업 도입을 위해 활동하거나, 현재 지원받고 있는 중도중복장애학생의 학부모7명을 대상으로 포커스 그룹 면담을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 부모가 경험한 어려움은 3개의 주제와 9개의 하위주제, 개선 과제는 3개의 주제와 9개의 하위주제로구성되었다. 먼저, 어려움의 주제는 학교 내 의료적 지원에 관여하는 주체 별로, 즉 부모의 어려움, 학교의 어려움, 연계 병원의 어려움으로 구성되었다. 다음으로 이러한 어려움을 개선하고 의료적 지원 발전을 위한 개선 과제의 주제는 1) 의료적 지원에 대한 인식 개선, 2) 국가 차원의 의료 지원 체제 구축, 3) 간호사 처우 및 근무환경개선으로 구성되었다. 결론: 연구 결과를 중심으로 학교 의료적 지원 사업과 관련하여 시사점 및 후속연구를 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study aimed to clarify the challenges and improvements regarding in-school medical support. Method: A focus group interview was conducted with seven parents of children with severe and multiple disabilities. The interview data were analyzed using the constant comparative analysis method. Results: The challenges of in-school medical support included three themes and nine sub-themes, and the improvements consisted of three themes and nine sub-themes. First, the three themes of challenges were as follows: (1) challenges of parents, (2) challenges of schools, and (3) challenges of hospitals. Next, the improvements were as follows: (1) improving awareness of medical support, (2) establishing a national medical support system, and (3) improving school nurse’s working conditions and work environment. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, the implications of this study, its limitations and suggestions for follow-up studies were discussed.
