영문 초록

Conservation treatment of lacquered box inlaid with mother-of-pearl, turtle shell and shark-skin was carried out. In a circular shape, the inside of the body and lid are painted red, the outside is decorated with The colorful abalone shells, turtle shells, It uses elaborate metal, On the lid and body of the dragon motif. Analysis of the lacquered box in order to scientifi- cally analyze the production techniques and materials applied and safely collect basic data. This analysis result. made using techniques and materials used mother-of-pearl. The lacquered box was made of wood, It was then coated with cloth, lacquered and the surface layer was coated with shellac. Conservation restoration treatment that included removing of discoloration and es- toration were carried out.
