개수(概数) 兩에 대한 학습자의 이해와 한국어 대응 표현 연구

국문 초록

본고는 중국어 학습자들이 개수(概数) 兩에 대하여 얼마나 알고 있는지 알아보고, 중국 드라마와 소설 작품에서는 어떻게 표현되는지 알아보았다. 兩은 명확한 숫자 2와 불명확한 ‘몇’의 의미를 가진 다의어임에도 불구하고 학습자가 잘 모르고 있어, 이에 대한 인식을 높이는 것이 연구의 목적이다. 설문조사를 두 차례 실시하였는데, 설문조사1차는 중국어 학습자들이 개수(概数) 兩에 대하여 알고 있는지 살펴보기 위해, 40명을 대상으로 사전에 수록된 3개의 예문을 번역하도록 했는데, 대다수의 중국어 학습자들은 개수 兩에 대하여 잘 알지 못했고, 고급 수준의 학습자들도 의미 오류를 범했다. 중국 드라마와 소설에서의 개수(概数) 兩의 한국어로 번역되는 대응 표현은 주로 ‘좀’, ‘조금만’, ‘한’, ‘두어’, ‘한두’, ‘몇’ 등 매우 다양하게 나타났다. 특히 양사에 따라 다양한 표현이 가능하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Through two surveys, this paper looked at how much Chinese learners knew about the approximate number “兩” and how it was expressed in Chinese dramas and novels. Although the rhetoric “兩” is a multilingual word that has two or more meanings, learners do not know it well. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to raise awareness of approximate quantity. The survey was conducted twice. The first survey aims to find out whether Chinese learners are aware of the approximate number “兩”. It translates four sentences for 40 people. Most Chinese learners were not well aware of the approximate number “兩”, and some advanced-level learners also showed errors. Overall, the percentage of correct answers was not high. The purpose of the second survey is to find out how high-level learners express the approximate number of “兩”. The content of the survey is to translate nine sentences for high-level learners. It was mainly translated into a few or a little. The expression of quantity that appeared in Chinese dramas and novels was investigated. Mostly, it appeared in a wide variety of ways, such as ‘좀’, ‘조금만’, ‘한두’, ‘두어’, ‘몇’, ‘한’. In particular, expressions appeared in various ways depending on the two companies.
