The purpose of this study is verify the effect of the quality level of educational services perceived by Korean learners on the formation of their self-directed learning ability and the mediating effect of learning transfer in this causal relationship. Results as follows. First, the higher the level of awareness of the quality of educational services of Korean learners, the higher the level of self-directed learning ability formation. In particular, trust and empathy were found to have the strongest positive influence on the formation of learners’ self-directed learning skills. Second, learning transfer had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between the level of Korean learners’ perception of educational service quality on the formation of self-directed learning ability.
