영문 초록
This study looks into various factors of structuring identity of Korean-American Korean Learners and among them, analysis how their language identity is constructed and how its feature is expressed. Identity classification is categorized into three sections-national identity, cultural identity, and language identity-according to theoretical background and the survey with 33 questions is carried out to 129 students. The research result through factor analysis is restructured into 5 structure factors - cultural preference and pride, national sentiment and language affect & behavior, language cognition, community and peer group and cultural behavior. And among language identities, language effect and language behavior are reclassified as various factors, but 5 questions categorized as language cognition are deducted as one structure factor. Since the excellence of Hangul and necessity of learning Korean are recognized, when we find ways of studying Korean more interestingly and practicing in real life, the effect of education for Korean language and identity is doubled increasingly.
