국문 초록

최근 기술의 발달로 인하여 다양한 분야에서 AI 언어 모델의 활용 가능성이 주목받고 있다. 본 연구는 수학교육의 교수학적 실천과연구 측면에서 AI 언어 모델 활용 방안을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 국어사전과 AI 언어 모델이 제시하는 수학 용어의 의미간 일치율을 ChatGPT를 이용하여 비교 분석하였다. ChatGPT는 AI 언어 모델 중 하나로 자연어 처리가 가능하며 입력된 텍스트에따른 답변을 구성할 수 있는 특징을 가지고 있다. 분석 결과, 국어사전과 AI 언어 모델의 답변 및 분석의 근거로부터 교수 학습 설계및 평가, 연구에 대한 AI 언어 모델의 다양한 활용 가능성을 탐색할 수 있었다. 다만, AI 언어 모델의 변동성을 고려하여 연구의타당도와 신뢰도 확보를 위한 방안의 모색이 요구된다.

영문 초록

Due to the recent development of technology, the possibility of using AI language models in various fields is drawing attention. This study attempted to explore ways to utilize the AI language model in terms of pedagogical practice and research in mathematics education. To this end, the matching rate between the meaning of the Korean dictionary and the mathematical term presented by the AI language model was compared and analyzed using ChatGPT. ChatGPT is one of the AI language models that can process natural language and organize answers according to input text. As a result of the analysis, it was possible to explore the various possibilities of using AI language models for teaching and learning design, evaluation, and research from the basis of answers and analysis of Korean dictionaries and AI language models. However, considering the volatility of the AI language model, it is required to find a way to secure the validity and reliability of the research.
