국문 초록

체내 중금속을 측정하는 방법으로는 혈액 및 소변, 모발 검사 등이 있으며 이들 중 만성적인 중금속의 저용량 노출에 대한 평가는 모발 검사가 권고되고 있다. 모발검사는 일반적으로 체내 미네랄 불균형 평가 및 중금속 평가를 위해 수행되는 비침습적인 방법이다. 일반적으로 혈액이나 소변 검사상 중금속 수치가 참고치 이상으로 높을 경우 체내에 다양한 영향을 미친다는 연구 결과는 있지만 모발 검사상 중금속 수치가 정상 이상일 경우, 특히 비소나 수은의 경우 이에 대한 자연 킬레이터의 역할에 대한 연구는 많지 않은 현실이다. 따라서 본 증례는 모발 검사상 비소나 수은이 참고치 이상으로 높은 경우에 셀레늄과 알파리포익산 등의 자연 킬레이터를 이용한 치료예를 보고하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Methods for measuring heavy metals in the body include blood, urine, and hair tests. Among these, hair analysis is recommended to evaluate chronic low-dose exposure to heavy metals. Hair testing is a non-invasive method commonly performed to assess mineral imbalances and heavy metals in the body. In general, research results show that if the heavy metal level in a blood or urine test is higher than the reference value, it has various deleterious effects on the body, but if the heavy metal level in a hair test is above normal, especially in the case of arsenic or mercury, there is not much research on the role of natural chelators such as selenium and alpha-lipoic acid. Therefore, this case report is a case of treatment using a natural chelator in a case where arsenic or mercury was higher than the reference value on a hair assay.
