국문 초록

본 서평은 알랭 바디우의 에세이 『검은색』에 대해 다루고 있다. 이 책은 인류의 역사 속에서 오랫동안 ‘빛’으로부터 은폐되었던 사유들을 ‘검은색’이라는 키워드를 통해 분석한다. 저자는 인간의 삶 속에 늘 존재했지만 오해를 거듭해온 ‘검은색’에 대해 사회 역사적 맥락에서 정리한다. 그는 검은색을 통해 인간 사유의 근원에 대해 이야기하며, 검은색이 빛의 세계가 지워버린 현실의 일부를 드러나게 할 수 있는 유일한 수단이라고 이야기한다. 『검은색』은 우리의 욕망과 결핍에 대해 사유하고, 새로운 현실의 지도를 그려 나갈 수 있는 방법을 제시한다.

영문 초록

This book review discusses Alain Badiou’s essay “Le noir”. This book analyzes ideas that have been hidden from the light for a long time in human history through the keyword “black”. The author summarizes ‘black’ in a socio-historical context, which has always existed in human life but has been misunderstood. He discusses the roots of human thought through the color black, and argues that black is the only way to reveal the parts of reality that the world of light has erased. “Black offers a way to think about our desires and deficiencies, and to draw a map of a new reality.
