결혼이주 청각장애 여성의 결혼생활 경험에 관한 질적연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 결혼이주 청각장애 여성의 결혼생활 경험을 탐색하여 그 경험의 본질과 의미를 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 결혼이주 청각장애 여성 6명을 심층면접하고, 수집된 자료는 Giorgi의 기술적 현상학 연구방법으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 6개의 구성요소와 20개의 하위 구성요소가 도출되었다. 6개의 구성요소는 ‘ 결혼식 없는 재혼’, ‘화목하지 않은 결혼생활’, ‘지원금에만 의지하는 생계’, ‘고립된 생활’, ‘청각장애인이 살기 좋은 한국’, ‘자녀교육의 난관’ 으로 나타났다. 가족관계의 어려움, 자녀양육과 교육의 어려움이 있어도 도움을 받을 수 없는 결혼이주 청각장애 여성들을 지원하기 위해 자조모임의 활성화, 자녀들을 위한 도우미를 파견, 건강한 부부관계 형성을 위한 교육 방안 등을 제시하였으며 무엇보다 농문화라는 특성을 고려해 농아인협회를 통한 지원을 강조하였다. 본 연구는 결혼이주 청각장애 여성의 결혼생활 경험을 심층적으로 탐색함으로써, 이들에 대한 이해를 돕고 이들을 위한 실천적 개입 방안의 기초자료를 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore marriage experiences of immigrant women with hearing impairment. For this purpose, six married immigrant women with hearing impairment were interviewed in depth and the collected data were analyzed by Giorgi’s descriptive phenomenology method. As a result, 6 components and 20 subcomponents were derived. The 6 components are ‘remarriage without wedding ceremony’ ‘marriage without love’, ‘a life as a beneficiary of national basic livelihood’, ‘a life of isolation’, ‘livable Korea for person with hearing impairment’, and ‘difficulties in the education of her children’. The significance of this study is to understand marriage experiences of immigrant women with hearing impairment and to provide the basic data of the intervention plan for solving the problem on married life.
