개별화교육계획 운영 및 개선 방안에 대한 특수교육 전문가들의 인식

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 특수교육 전문가를 대상으로 개별화교육계획의 개념과 실제에 대한 인식을 알아보고 개선방안을 탐색하는 것이다. 연구 참여자는 교수 2명, 장학사 6명, 초․중등 특수학급 교사 9명, 초․중등 특수학교 교사 11명, 총 28명으로 이들을 6개의 그룹으로 나누어 초점집단면담을 진행하였다. 면담결과는 지속적 비교분석법을 사용하여 3개 영역의 11개 주제와 21개의 하위 주제를 도출하였다. 연구결과로 첫째, 특수교육 전문가들이 인식하고 있는 개별화교육계획은 현실적 개념과 이상적 개념이 공존하면서 이 둘 간에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 개별화교육계획 실제에서는 교육과정 및 수업과의 연계성이 부족한 형식적 운영, 나이스 개별화교육계획의 장․단점, 개별화교육지원팀의 협력적 접근의 미흡, 개별화교육계획의 평가를 통한 교육의 연속성 구현 부재로 인한 어려움이 있었다. 셋째, 개별화교육계획을 위한 개선 방안으로 특수교사의 역량 강화, 구체적인 운영 제도 개선에 대한 요구가 있었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 개별화교육계획 개선 방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study investigated the perception of the concept and practice of individualized education plans and to search for improvements. The research method was the focus group interview(FGI). The participants were grouped into 6 groups of 2 professors, 6 junior supervisors, 9 elementary and secondary resource room teachers, and 11 elementary and secondary special school teachers. As a result of the research, 3 domains, 11 topics and 21 sub-topics were derived. First, there was a gap between the realistic and ideal concept of individualized education plan recognized by educational experts. Second, there was a difficulty in the actual practice of individualized education plan due to the lack of connection between curriculum and class, NEIS IEP’s pros and cons, lack of cooperative approach of individualized education support team, and lack of continuity of education through assessment of the individualized education plan. Third, there was a need for strengthening the capacity of special education teachers and improving the specific operating system as an improvement plan for the individualized education plan. Based on the results, the researchers provided directions for improving individualized education plan and further research.
