국문 초록

목적: 본 연구는 국어 교사의 행복은 어디에서 오는가를 탐구하기 위해 국어 교사의 행복 경험을 탐색하고자 하였다. 방법: 이를 위해 행복의 개념과 요인을 이론적으로 탐색하고, 내러티브 탐구의 방법론을 통해 질적 모색을 수행하고자 하였다. 결과: 국어 교사의 행복은 제재 선택과 활동에서의 자율성, 창의적인 활동 및 사고의 성장 가능성 등 국어 교과 고유의 교과적 특질에 기반한다. 한편 이러한 교과적 특질이 교사 행복의 경험으로 실현될 수 있기 위해서는 교사 주도성의 발현, 공동체로부터의 인정과 지지, 의미화의 획득, 미래에 대한 전망과 기대의 형성 등의 조건이 필요하다. 결론: 국어 교사의 행복은 관계성과 맥락 속에서 축적된 과거의 경험을 기반으로 하여 맥락에 대한 주도성, 공동체로부터 얻는 인정과 지지, 세계 안에서 형성하는 의미, 지속적인 성찰과 재구성의 과정을 통한 현재적 발현, 성장에 대한 기대와 전망의 획득에 의한 미래의 투영으로 이루어진다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the circumstances and factors contributing to the happiness of Korean language teachers. Methods: This study conducted a theoretical examination of the concept and determinants of happiness. Qualitative insights into the research problems were obtained through a narrative research methodology. Results: The happiness of Korean language teachers is based on the unique characteristics of Korean language subjects, such as autonomy in text selection and activities, the possibility of creative activities, and the growth of thinking. In order for these curriculum characteristics to be realized as an experience of teacher happiness, conditions such as the expression of teacher agency, recognition and support from the community, acquisition of meaning, and formation of prospects and expectations for the future are required. Conclusion: The happiness of Korean language teachers is grounded in their past experiences. It is also influenced by their ability to assume leadership roles, the recognition and support received from their community, the meaning they find in their connection with the world. It also consists of projections driven by anticipation of future growth.
