영문 초록

This study aims to provide information for the study of Qing Dynasty furniture and even Chinese traditional furniture by analyzing the modeling characteristics of rose chair back in Qing Dynasty, the pattern category and the Chinese traditional culture behind it. Through literature search and case analysis, this paper mainly analyzes the time background of 78 exist- ing rose chairs, the definition and structure of rose chairs, and focuses on the shape of the chair back. The shape of rose chair in Qing Dynasty is small and exquisite, especially the shape of backrest has unique characteristics. Behind the unique form and different patterns express peo- ple's yearning for a better life, and different people's different pursuit of life. Like ordinary chairs, the rose chair is composed of backrest, armrest, seat plate and legs, but the back pattern of the rose chair has various patterns, including ice pattern, comb back pattern, animal pattern, plant pattern, Chinese character pattern and moire, smoked furnace pattern, landscape pattern and other patterns. The use of gorgeous patterns contains different traditional Chinese culture and expresses people's different beliefs. This is a unique handicraft product of this period of the Qing Dynasty. It provides a reference for the study of the overall characteristics of rose chairs and furniture in the Qing Dynasty.
