대학 졸업자의 IT 자격 보유가 취업과 임금에 미치는 영향분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학 졸업자의 IT 자격 보유 현황을 파악하고 자격의 보유가 취업 여부와 임금에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 것이다. 분석대상은 2018년 8월 및 2019년 2월 대학 졸업자이며, 대학 졸업자 직업이동 경로조사 자료를 활용하였다. 연구 방법은 로지스틱 회귀분석, Heckman 2단계 분석을 활용하였다. 연구에서 IT 자격 종류는 정보처리기사, 정보처리산업기사, 컴퓨터활용능력, MOS(MicroSoft Office Specialist) 자격으로 한정하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, IT 자격은 취업 여부에 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, IT 자격의 임금효과는 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 대학 졸업자가 취업 준비를 위하여 응시하는 IT 자격의 준비 방향 및 자격 시행의 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the current status of university graduates' holding of IT certificate and to determine the effect of holding qualification on employment status and wages. The subjects of analysis were university graduates in August 2018 and February 2019, the data were referenced from GOMS(Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey). For the research method, the Logistic regression analysis and Heckman's two-step analysis were used. The types of IT qualification covered in this study are: Engineer Information Processing, Industrial Engineer Information Processing, Computer Specialist in Spreadsheet & Database, and MOS(Microsoft Office Specialist Qualification). The investigation results are as follows: First, it was found that IT qualification had a negative impact on employment. Second, IT qualification had a positive impact on the wage effect. These result may contribute to how college graduates should prepare for the IT qualification and what the qualification system implies.
