영문 초록
The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of smoke-free policy on riverboat casino revenues and player admission. The time series analysis shows statistical significant revenue losses and admission decrease for the state regulated commercial riverboat casinos due to the Smoke Free Illinois Act, which prohibits smoking in public area including casino premises. Implications are discussed and recommendations for future studies follow.
