국문 초록

목적 이 연구는 유아 운동발달의 중요성에 주목하여, 어머니와 교사가 각각 평정한 유아의 주도성과 자기통제가 운동발달에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 수행되었다. 방법 이를 위하여 278명의 유아를 대상으로, 기본움직임기술 평가도구(TGMD-Ⅱ)를 사용하여 운동발달을 측정하였고, Devereux 유아 평가 도구 질문지를 이용하여 연구대상 유아의 어머니와 14명 담임 교사에게 유아의 주도성과 자기통제 자료를 수집하였다. 결과 어머니와 교사가 평정한 유아의 주도성과 자기통제의 수준에 따른 유아의 운동발달에는 차이가 있었다. 또한, 어머니가 자녀의 자기통제를 높다고 평정할수록, 교사가 유아의 주도성이 높다고 평정할수록 유아의 이동운동 기술이 좋았고, 어머니와 교사가 유아의 자기통제를 높다고 평정할수록, 교사가 유아의 주도성이 높다고 평정할수록 유아의 물체조작 기술이 좋았다. 결론 이 연구의 결과는 사회정서 발달과 신체운동 발달의 관련을 실증적으로 나타내어 유아 전인적 발달의 예시를 제공한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The study noted the importance of child motor development, confirming the impact of mother-reported and teacher-reported child initiative and self-regulation on the children’s motor development. Methods For 278 children, motor development was measured using the Test of Gross Motor Development (TGMD-II), and child initiative and self-regulation data were collected from 278 mothers and 14 teachers using the Devereux Early Childhood Assessment questionnaire. Results There was a difference in child motor development according to the level of initiative and self-regulation. The higher the mother evaluates her child's self-regulation, the higher the teacher evaluates the child's initiative, the better the child's locomotion skills were. With this, the higher the mother and teacher assess the child's self- regulation, the higher the teacher assessed the child's initiative, the better the child's object-control skills were. Conclusions The results of this study provide examples of whole child by empirically illustrate the relationship between social emotional development and physical motor development.
