전통문화에 기초한 동작표현활동이 유아의 기본운동능력과 창의성에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 전통문화에 기초한 동작표현활동이 유아의 기본운동능력과 창의성에 미치는 효과를 알아보았다. 방법 G시에 소재한 D유치원에 재원 중인 만 5세 유아 실험집단 20명과 비교집단 20명, 총 40명을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 전통문화에 기초한 동작표현활동이 유아의 기본운동능력과 창의성에 미치는 효과를 비교·분석하기 위해 사전검사와 사후검사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 통계프로그램 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였고 독립표본 t검증을 실시하였다. 결과 전통문화에 기초한 동작표현활동을 실시한 실험집단이 비교집단보다 기본운동능력 전체 및 하위요소 중 이동운동능력에 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 또한 전통문화에 기초한 동작표현활동을 실시한 실험집단이 비교집단보다 창의성 전체 및 하위요소 중 유창성, 독창성, 정교성에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 결론 본 연구의 결과는 유아교육현장에서 유아의 기본운동능력과 창의성을 증진시키고자 하는 교수학습방법을 모색하는데 전통문화에 기초한 동작표현활동이 적극적으로 활용될 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study were to investigate the effect of motion expression activity based on traditional culture on children’s motor proficiency and creativity. Methods The subjects of this study were 40 who were 5-years-old children enrolled in D kindergarten located G city. To compare the effects of experimental treatments on young children’s motor proficiency and creativity scores of pre-test and post-test were analyzed by independent t-test applying SPSS 22.0 program. Results Motion expression activity based on traditional culture had positive effects on children’s motor proficiency. In the subordinate factor of the motor proficiency, locomotor ability of experimental group’s score were significant higher than comparative group’s. Motion expression activity based on traditional culture had positive effects on children’s creativity. The score of the experimental group was significantly higher than the score of the comparative group in ‘fluency processing’, ‘originality’, ‘elaboration’ which are subarea of creativity. Conclusions The result of this study is expected to be a future guidelines to develop teaching-learning method to enhance children’s motor proficiency and creativity.
