국내 간호학생에게 적용한 팀기반학습의 효과에 대한 메타분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 팀기반학습의 효과를 확인하기 위해 국내 간호학생에게 팀기반학습(TBL)을 적용한 연구를 대상으로 하여 메타분석을 실시하였다. 방법 메타분석을 위해 2023년 1월 7일에서 10일까지 10개의 국내외 학술 데이터베이스(Cochrane Library, Pubmed, Medline, CINAHL, DBpia, RISS, KISS, ScienceOn, 교보문고 스콜라, 국회 전자도서관)를 이용하여 총 1211편의 문헌을 검색하였다. 문헌검색은 학술지 논문만을 대상으로 하였고, 검색기간에는 제한을 두지 않았다. 자료의 선정기준과 배제기준에 따라 메타분석에 포함된 연구는 무작위 대조군 연구와 비무작위 대조군 연구 총 11편이었고, 메타분석은 R4.2.2 프로그램을 사용하여 실시하였다. 결과 국내 간호학생의 팀기반학습의 전체 효과크기는 0.66(95% CI:0.39~0.94)으로 중간 크기로 나타났고, 팀기반학습의 학습성과 변수별 효과크기는 문제해결능력 0.96(95% CI:0.22~1.70), 자기주도적 학습능력 0.86(95% CI:0.02~1.70), 의사소통능력 0.79(95% CI:0.22~1.37), 비판적 사고능력 0.26(95% CI:0.03~0.49)으로 나타났다. 학년, 중재 횟수, 교과목 유형을 조절변수로 하여 분석한 결과 조절변수에 따른 효과크기는 학년에만 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구 결과를 통해 팀기반학습은 간호학생의 학습성과를 높이는데 효과적인 학습방법임을 확인하였고, 이는 팀기반학습의 수업 설계와 실행을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to verify the effectiveness of team-based learning (TBL) applied to Korean nursing students through meta-analysis. Methods The literature search was conducted using domestic and international academic databases from January 7 to 10, 2023. There were a total of 11 studies included in the meta-analysis, including random and non-random control studies. Meta-analysis was analyzed using the R4.2.2 program. Results The overall effect size was 0.66(95% CI: 0.39-0.94), showing a medium size. In the analysis of the effect size according to the outcome variables of team-based learning, problem-solving ability was 0.96(95% CI:0.22-1.70), self-directed learning ability was 0.86(95% CI:0.02-1.70), communication ability was 0.79(95% CI:0.22-1.37), and critical thinking ability was 0.26(95% CI:0.03-0.49). The grade, the number of interventions, and the type of subject were analyzed as control variables. The effect size according to the control variable was found to have a statistically significant difference only in grade. Conclusions Through the results of this study, it was confirmed that team-based learning is an effective learning method to improve the learning performance of nursing students. This can be used as basic data for instructional design and execution of team-based learning.
