영아 언어 관련 국내 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 영아 언어 관련 국내 연구의 동향을 살펴봄으로써 향후 영아 언어 분야의 연구 발달을 위한 방향성과 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 방법 본 연구 대상은 2007년부터 2020년까지 국내에서 발간된 등재 학술지의 영아 언어 관련 논문 총 165편이다. 영아 언어 관한 연구동향을 분석하기 위하여 연구시기, 연구대상, 연구방법, 연구주제 범주화 작업을 하고, 자료 분석은 빈도와 백분율을 통하여 산출하였다. 결과 분석 결과를 살펴보면 연구시기별로는 2007년부터 2011년까지 비슷한 수준으로 발간되다가 2012년부터 2015년까지 증가세를 보인 뒤에 점차 감소하는 추세이다. 연구대상별로는 영아만을 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많았으며, 영아와 성인 대상 혼합연구, 문헌연구, 성인 대상 연구 순이었다. 연구방법별로는 양적 연구가 가장 많았으며, 질적 연구, 문헌 연구, 혼합 연구 순이었다. 연구주제별로는 언어 발달이 가장 많았으며, 어휘발달, 의사소통, 교수매체, 부모환경, 발달요인, 읽기, 프로그램, 물리적 환경, 교수법, 교사 환경 순이었다. 결론 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 영아 언어 관련 연구가 나아갈 방향을 제시하면, 연구대상 측면에서 0~12개월 영아 대상 연구를 보다 많이 수행하여 전반적인 연령의 영아 언어 관련이해 및 정보가 제공되는 것이 요구된다. 또한, 양적 연구와 질적 연구가 균형 있게 수행되고 다양한 주제 탐색이 이루어져 다각도로 영아 언어 관련 정보가 제공되는 것이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to examine research trends related to infant language published in Korea from 2007 to 2020, in order to suggest directions and implications for research in the field of infant language. Methods A total of 165 studies related to infant language were analyzed for trends by research period, research subject, research method, and research topic. Results As a result of this study, by research period, it was published at a similar level from 2007 to 2011, then increased from 2012 to 2015, and then gradually decreased. By research subject, studies targeting infants were the most common, followed by mixed studies involving infants and adults, literature studies, and studies involving adults. By research method, quantitative research was the most common, followed by qualitative research, literature research, and mixed research. By research subject, language development was the most common, followed by vocabulary development, communication, instructional media, parental environment, developmental factors, reading, program, physical environment, teaching method, and teacher environment. Conclusions Based on these results, the research direction and educational implications for the future research and development in the field of language of infants were presented.
