상호문화교육에 기반한 한국어 문화 교수·학습 설계

국문 초록

이 연구는 상호문화교육에 기반한 한국어 문화 교수·학습을 설계하기 위하여 세계적 설화 전승 유형인 ‘백조처녀 설화(swanmaiden)’에 해당하는 「나무꾼과 선녀」를선택하고, 중국과 베트남 학습자들의 인식을 두 차례 조사하여 반영하였다. ‘한국-중국-베트남’의 국민이 대중적으로 아는 ‘나무꾼과 선녀-우랑직녀(牛郎織女)-뉴랑측유(Ngưu lang Chức nữ)’의 공통점과 차이점에 대한 인식을 조사하여 외국인 학습자의 실제 문화를 교수·학습에 반영하였다. 또한, 교수·학습을 구안하며 외국어 교육에서 학습자와 교수자 모두의 ‘상호문화적 의사소통 역량’ 향상을 강조한Byram과 ‘한국어교육 표준 모형 개발 과정’의 내용 및 장한업(2020)의 ‘상호문화교육 6단계’를 고려하여 학습자의 상호문화 역량 향상을 촉진하고자 하였다. 이러한 노력은 그동안 한국어교육에서 설화를 활용하여 활발하게 진행되어 한국어 문화교육의 해석적 지평을 확장하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

In order to design Korean language culture teaching and learning based on intercultural education, this study selected “The Fairy and the Woodcutter” corresponding to the world-class folktale transmission type swan maiden, and surveyed and reflected the perceptions of Chinese and Vietnamese learners twice. The real culture of foreign learners was reflected in teaching and learning by investigating the commonalities and differences between “The Fairy and the Woodcutter-牛郎 織女-Ngưu lang Chức nữ” that the people of “Korea-China-Vietnam” commonly know. In addition, it was intended to promote learners intercultural capabilities by considering Byram and the Korean Language Education Standard Model Development Process, which emphasized the improvement of intercultural cultural communication capabilities of both learners and instructors in foreign language education. These efforts are meaningful in that they have been actively carried out using folk tales in Korean language education, expanding the interpretive horizon of Korean language culture education.
