영문 초록

Such the type of ‘see’ as ‘見(jiàn), 看(kàn), 觀(guān)’ etc. is definitely differ in use. Nevertheless, people don’t understand the clear meaning of sentences, because they insist on ‘不立文字’(a Buddhist revelation : People don’t put into words.) and don’t classify the use of words. Hence, this manuscript drew some conclusion through looking closely at the use of words mentioned above. First, ‘見·看·觀’ is to see with an attempt to see by an acting person. Second, while ‘見’ means that one see in the light of ‘意(yì)’ which provides a basis for one’s discrimination, ‘看’ means that even if one’s eye accepts the object in the form of image in mind, it doesn't arrive at seeing in one’ viewpoint and ‘觀’ means that it doesn’t simply see, but looks at closely.
